The birth and the start of Ragz Laboratory began in Caldwell, Idaho, originally known as Hush Apparel. During that time period, I was attending the city's local institution, The College of Idaho. Looking back at my freshman year with a primary focus on making friends, and trying to enjoy my time enrolled as a collegiate athlete, a lot has changed. I am proud to say I left with a degree and a seed I plan to grow. All could not have been achieved without the support of my family, friends, teammates, and the impactful people connected within the college and community. The College of Idaho provided me with diversity within the state of Idaho, which is uncommon to see. The welcoming personality of the individuals I met allowed me to build connections far different from what I could have ever imagined. This led to me being introduced to a variety of contrasting perspectives around the world. Having an open mindset, which was developed through close relationships growing up, gave me the space to learn and see personal beliefs in new ways. Ragz has no set perspective and is growing every day. Perspective is ever-changing as new days bring new experiences, and with those experiences, provide opportunities to learn. Ragz respects your uniqueness, encouraging you to represent it in a way only you can create. We hold a strong positive foundation that was created through challenges and mistakes. In life, when pressure is applied, stress can later be developed. Inside these environments, people can fold or grow. The outcome can be determined by you. But know no one is going to understand what you face if you stay silent. The challenges that you face are only understood in the way you have perceived them. When applied to environments around you, you may find similarities and opportunities for help. Ignoring what is meant to be overcome allows for doubt, failure, and the unknown to eventually grow to consume you. Ragz strives for this pressure and people needing support to achieve or conquer their goals. This is where success, positivity, and change is created. With all that being said, what you create may then be perceived differently than how you intended your vision to be consumed. That is why at Ragz, we find purpose (the process) behind supporting the message. What you are trying to convey is one of the most important pieces of a product. So that is why we put focus on not allowing work to go misunderstood or unseen. Often, I have struggled with and seen the impact of messages being misheard and the results being diminished. That is why I wanted to create Ragz, a platform to create a message to represent like minded individuals focused on positivity with the energy behind it. Ragz is a symbol to represent the creation of calm and tranquility within whatever disorder it lives in.
